Dynasty Fantasy Football Rankings Updates: How High Can Emeka Egbuka Climb?
Sam Wallace highlights four players who moved in his final dynasty fantasy football rankings update ahead of the 2025 regular season.
The start of the NFL season is right around the corner, which means it's time to make one final offseason update to my dynasty fantasy football rankings. While I didn't make too many significant changes, there are a few specifics I want to highlight. Let's dive in.

Updates To My Dynasty Fantasy Football Rankings
Emeka Egbuka | WR | Buccaneers
It's getting harder and harder to keep Emeka Egbuka out of the top tier of dynasty wideouts. The 19th overall pick last spring landed with the Buccaneers, who, despite having perceived depth at the position, may need Egbuka to step up in a big way as soon as Week 1.
As of this writing, Chris Godwin (ankle) is still on the PUP but is expected to be activated to the 53-man roster to start the season. It remains unclear how long the 29-year-old will remain sidelined.
In addition, second-year wideout Jalen McMillan will start the year on IR after suffering a sprained neck. As a rookie, McMillan stepped up in Godwin's absence and scored eight TDs.
That leaves 32-year-old Mike Evans and Egbuka as the likely primary targets for Baker Mayfield to begin the season. Egbuka was always a strong prospect (No. 3 in our Rookie WR Model), but his landing spot initially forced us to temper our expectations. That's certainly not the case anymore as Tampa seeks to continue its dominance of the NFC South.
Dynasty managers who potentially snagged Egbuka at a "discount" after his landing spot are sitting in an excellent spot now. It serves as a great reminder that the fantasy landscape can change so quickly and that you should always bet on talent, even if the short-term outlook doesn't look as promising as we initially hoped.

Tucker Kraft | TE | Packers
A bit of a homer pick for me as a resident Wisconsinite, there's a very real chance that Tucker Kraft is a 2025 league winner at the TE position relative to his draft cost. He's currently going off the board as the TE11 on Underdog
Last season, the Packers had a bunch of No. 2s and 3s but no true WR1. The drafting of Matthew Golden with the 23rd overall pick seems to address that particular issue, but now the team is already dealing with something even more concerning … injuries.
There hasn't been a single snap of meaningful football played yet, but the Packers have already been without Jayden Reed (foot), Romeo Doubs (back), Christian Watson (knee), Savion Williams (hamstring), and Dontayvion Wicks (calf) for various portions of the offseason.
That's … not great … which all leads me back to Kraft.
The top two targets for Jordan Love to begin the season might very well be Golden and Kraft (there's gotta be a fun fantasy team name in there somewhere).
Kraft has already demonstrated promising upside by topping 700 receiving yards and scoring seven TDs as a sophomore last season. While the Green & Gold are likely to lean on Josh Jacobs to balance their offensive attack, an increased role with a banged-up wide receiver room could force Love to look Kraft's way even more.
Do a price-check on Kraft in your dynasty leagues and see what the other managers are doing with him. He could offer both short and long-term upside on your dynasty squads.
Jameson Williams | WR | Lions
Sticking with the NFC North, Jameson Williams is poised to go absolutely nuclear this season.
After suffering a torn ACL in the 2022 National Championship game, the Lions went on to draft him 12th overall the following spring. He caught just one pass in six games (a 41-yard TD). Williams was then suspended for four games to begin the 2023 season and had a disappointing Year 2, finishing with just 24 receptions for 354 yards and a pair of scores.
Finally, last season (Year 3), he broke out. Williams tallied 58 receptions for just over 1,000 yards and seven TDs. His yards per target (11.0) and yards per reception (17.3) were also more indicative of his downfield style of play.
Heading into 2025, Williams has all the talent and motivation to make this season his best one yet. Despite the change in offensive coordinator, the Lions are going to be a very good football team with a highly efficient offense under Jared Goff.
With Amon-Ra St. Brown the presumed No. 1 option, Williams should continue to see his role and production increase as the secondary option.
Dynasty managers have a few more days to go get this talented player before his stock races to the moon.
Alvin Kamara | RB | Saints
There are certain players in dynasty that you are just going to have on your rosters until they retire. That's how I'm feeling more and more about Alvin Kamara.
Despite the expected offensive challenges of the New Orleans Saints, Kamara is going to get his touches regardless of who is under center or how effective they are. Especially in PPR formats, he's going to offer managers such a safe floor, and his TD upside is still there.
Our projections have him finishing as the RB8 and just five points from RB6.
Not bad for a 30-year-old RB. It's amazing what heavy involvement in the passing game will do for your fantasy value.
Dynasty managers looking to shore up their roster for the next season (or two), or those who are squeezing in one more start-up draft before Week 1 rolls around, shouldn't shy away from an RB that wasn't born this century.
Besides, I see all of you still racing to the podium to draft Derrick Henry.
Let's not over-complicate it—Kamara is someone who has won you titles in the past and still offers that same ability in the year 2025.
