253 Fantasy Football Facts and Stats That I Learned From Writing 32 Team Previews for 2025

253 Fantasy Football Facts and Stats That I Learned From Writing 32 Team Previews for 2025

Ian Hartitz breaks down over 250 ... yes, over 250, facts and stats that he uncovered while writing his 32 NFL team previews for the 2025 fantasy football season.

I spent the better part of May and June writing team previews for all 32 NFL teams. You can find links to each and every one of those articles right here.

Understandably, I learned a lot of cool new shit while writing out these 70,015 combined words. This brings us to today's topic: 253 fun fantasy football and general NFL facts and notes surrounding every team ahead of 2025.

As always: It's a great day to be great.

Fantasy Football Facts For Every NFL Team Ahead of 2025

ARI_cardinals-logo.svgArizona Cardinals

1. Kyler Murray's rushing highs are quite high, but we simply haven't seen him return the same sort of upside on the ground in recent seasons that was on display throughout 2020.

Murray did scramble a bit more in 2024 (6.7%) than in 2023 (5.3%), but it seems like wishful thinking to believe he'll get back to his ridiculous 2020 heights (not a short joke, I swear).

2. James Conner might as well be the RB version of Tyler Lockett at this point, considering his constant ability to smash his ADP.

Conner's fantasy finish vs. preseason ADP, by year:

  • 2021: RB8 in PPR points per game, RB35 ADP
  • 2022: RB9 finish, RB15 ADP
  • 2023: RB13 finish, RB25 ADP
  • 2024: RB15 finish, RB18 ADP
  • 2025: RB22 ADP

The man is a stud and hasn't shown many (any?) signs of slowing down. Consider: Only Josh Jacobs (97) broke more tackles than Conner (91) on the ground in 2024, while only Jahmyr Gibbs (13.6%) and Derrick Henry (11.4%) had higher explosive run rates than the eight-year veteran (11%).

3. Marvin Harrison Jr. wasn't exactly deployed with a well-rounded route tree as a rookie: He was the only WR with at least 25% of their targets coming on go routes in 2024 (min. 70 targets). There was plenty of good out there, too. Harrison made more than a few impressive contested catches, and his counting numbers are still in line with plenty of other year-one performances from future greats … just like his Dad! But man, could we maybe get more than … literally one forced missed tackle on the season next year?

4. Unfortunately, I can't quite quantify this, but I'm pretty sure Trey McBride led the NFL in successful hurdles last season.

5. Folks weren't thrilled with the aerial success of the Cardinals last season, but hey, that run game sure was sweet!

ATL_falcons-logo.svgAtlanta Falcons

6. Nobody had a higher big-time throw rate than Michael Penix (9%!) last season, which was especially cool to see considering the rookie was up there with Lamar Jackson and Bo Nix as the league's best QBs at avoiding sacks and limiting turnover-worthy plays. Hell, even the interceptions Penix did throw were not on him.

7. Just three RBs are projected to see 300-plus combined carries and targets next season (per the Fantasy Life Projections):

8. At the risk of jinxing the man, Tyler Allgeier has 586 combined carries and targets in his three-year career—with *zero* fumbles or drops. This is a good RB!

9. Drake London had 39 targets during Penix's three starts last season. The next-closest Falcon had … 12.

10. That said, Darnell Mooney did miss Week 18, and he deserves credit for actually having more receiving yards than London during the first 14 weeks of last season. The ex-Bear is an absolute demon when it comes to picking up chunk gains on deep outs.

11. An average of five teams per season have enabled multiple top-24 WRs in PPR points per game over the last decade of action. Shoutout to the 2018 Rams and 2020 Buccaneers as the only teams with three.

12. The Falcons have the lowest average rank in pressure rate over the last five years, and it's not particularly close. Kudos to the front office for signing Leonard Floyd and using a pair of first-rounders in an attempt to spruce up the pass rush, but there's still quite a way to go before they approach mediocrity.

13. Lamar Jackson is now responsible for two of the top six highest-scoring fantasy seasons of all time.

14. Early-round fantasy QBs have largely returned good return on investment in recent years–particularly ones capable of picking up yards on the ground. Consider:

  • Just 22 QBs have boasted top-50 overall ADP over the last five years
  • Average finish in fantasy points per game: QB7
  • Median finish: QB5
  • 13/22 (59%) returned top-six numbers on a per-game basis
  • All but three finished inside the top 12 (86%)
  • The three that didn't were all the non-Mahomes pocket passers: 2022 Justin Herbert, 2023 Joe Burrow, and 2024 C.J. Stroud.

15. Derrick Henry spent his final few seasons in Tennessee operating in arguably the league's worst offense when it came to creating rushing yards before contact per carry. Now he finds himself in possibly the single-best environment.

Rank in RB yards before contact per carry 2020-2024:

  • Ravens: 1st, 7th, 5th, 6th, 2nd
  • Titans: 20th, 19th, 31st, 28th, 31st

16. RBs with 400-plus touches in a season (including playoffs) played an average of 12.7 games (median 15) the next year.

17. The RB position does tend to fall off after their age 30 season. Of course, Henry also just might be an alien.

18. The Ravens employ three top-10 WRs when it comes to ESPN's "Open Rating", which was created to help quantify separation ability.

Ravens WR rank in Open Rating during 2023-24 seasons:

  • Flowers: 80 (6th)
  • Hopkins: 77 (tied for 7th)
  • Bateman: 76 (tied for 9th)

19. While nobody should be slandering Lamar Jackson's passing ability after leading the league in passing TD rate, yards per attempt, passer rating, QBR, and PFF pass grade, the run-first and crowded nature of this offense has indeed made it tough to get much fantasy goodness out of its WRs in recent years.

Top scoring Ravens WRs in PPR points per game

20. September was ROUGH, and the Divisional Round drop against the Bills certainly wasn't ideal; just realize Mark Andrews still managed to catch a career-high 11 TDs and worked as the TE8 in PPR points per game in Weeks 5-18.

21. The positive impact that Jackson's mobility has on the Ravens' offensive line can't be overstated. This group has rotated linemen with regularity over the years, yet nobody has come close to matching Baltimore's numbers in rush yards before contact per carry and average time to sack allowed.

BUF_bills-logo.svgBuffalo Bills

22. Josh Allen's career average of 22.2 fantasy points per game is the highest mark by any QB … ever.

23. Allen averaged his fewest passing yards per game (219.5) since 2019, leading to the reigning MVP relying on his legs for fantasy production as much as any QB in the league.

Highest percentage of fantasy points to come from rushing among top-20 QBs in 2024:

  1. Jalen Hurts (45%)
  2. Jayden Daniels (35%)
  3. Josh Allen (33%)

24. James Cook's TD rates have been pretty, pretty, pretty wild during his short career:

  • Cook converted just 2.3% of his touches into scores during the 2022-23 seasons—41st among 53 qualified backs.
  • But in 2024? Cook's 7.5% TD rate was easily first among 51 qualified backs. That mark is good for the seventh-highest mark among any RB with 200-plus touches in a season since 2000.

Cook just became the sixth RB since 2000 to score at least 15 TDs on the ground on fewer than 210 carries. Those other RBs scored two, four, seven, three, and two times the next season.

25. Five WRs have led the position in yards after the catch above expected per reception since 2018 (per Next-Gen Stats): DJ Moore, A.J. Brown, Deebo Samuel, Jaylen Waddle … and Keon Coleman!

26. Obviously the counting numbers from Dalton Kincaid have been underwhelming relative to his standing as a first-rounder in one of the league's best passing games, but the rising third-year talent did post top-10 numbers in targets per route run (27.2%, 2nd), PFF receiving grade (76.0, 8th), and yards per route run (1.62, 9th) last season. Kincaid's uncatchable target rate reflects the reality that it wasn't all his fault in 2024, although that season-ending drop certainly wasn't ideal.

27. The Bills lead the NFL in points per game over the past five years while simultaneously allowing the fewest points per game.

CAR_panthers-logo.svgCarolina Panthers

28. Bryce Young's second-half ascension didn't produce lights-out numbers in things like EPA per dropback (+0.11, 18th) or yards per attempt (6.6, 28th), but you can sure paint a pretty picture in terms of PFF pass grade and big-time throw rate!

29. Kudos to Young for averaging 18.9 fantasy points per game (QB13) during this stretch, although I'm also a little skeptical Young's late-season fantasy goodness is overly repeatable considering how much of his production came on the ground. Consider: Young scored the second-most fantasy points from strictly rushing production in Weeks 13-18, thanks in large part to five rushing TDs—both marks more than any QB not named Josh Allen.

30. No offense produced a worse average teamwide WR and TE "Open Score" than the Panthers (38.3) last season.

31. Chuba Hubbard's +1.16 rush yards over expected per carry trailed only Derrick Henry, Saquon Barkley, and Jordan Mason.

32. Rico Dowdle deserves credit for largely making the most out of his opportunities last season when he led the entire NFL in percentage of carries to gain at least three yards after contact (51%) in 2024!

33. Three of 19 (15.8%) WRs drafted in the top 10 since 2010 finished as WR1s in PPR points per game. Six of 19 (31.6%) finished as WR2s.

34. Xavier Legette is not in good company when looking at first-round WRs who failed to reach 500 yards as a rookie over the last decade.

CHI_bears-logo.svgChicago Bears

35. Only Will Levis (30.4%) had a higher pressure-to-sack rate than Caleb Williams (28.2%) in 2024. PFF assigns blame on each sack, and Williams led the league in his OWN sacks taken (17) independent of the offensive line's own much-publicized issues.

36. D'Andre Swift has never finished worse than the RB24 in PPR points per game since entering the league in 2020. He was the RB16 during his only season with Ben Johnson as OC.

37. Yes, Roschon Johnson averaged just 2.7 yards per carry last year on 55 attempts—dead last among 70 RBs. Also, yes, a lot were in short yardage, and a robust 36.4% were against stacked boxes, which would have been the highest mark in the league if qualified.

38. DJ Moore's per-game numbers with Williams were not very good, even relative to what we've seen him accomplish with the plethora of underwhelming QBs that the ex-Panther has played with throughout his career.

39. Luther Burden joins Malik f*cking Nabers as the only two SEC WRs to force at least 30 missed tackles on receptions in a single season over the last five years. Burden's 0.49 missed tackle forced rate is the second-highest mark of any Power 5 WR of the last decade (shoutout Jauan Jennings).

40. Colston Loveland became just the sixth TE to earn top-10 draft capital since 2000.

41. Ben Johnson loves to press the easy buttons when it comes to his offensive scheme.

Overall, Johnson's play-action rate in three seasons with the Lions was the highest in the league by 5.2%! Top-eight marks in pre-snap motion (59.3%) and trick looks (7%) reflect the reality that there is a LOT for defenses to worry about on any given play.

CIN_bengals-logo.svgCincinnati Bengals

42. Joe Burrow joins Patrick Mahomes, Drew Brees, and Andrew Luck as the only QBs to average at least 275 passing yards per game with 50-plus career starts.

43. Chase Brown had a rather meh 39% snap rate and worked as the RB33 in PPR points per game (11) in Weeks 1-8 before Zack Moss was sidelined with a season-ending neck injury. After? Brown played on an elite 85% of the offense's snaps and averaged 20.9 PPR points per game—the fourth-highest mark among all RBs.

44. All Ja'Marr Chase has done since entering the league in 2021 is average the most PPR points per game (19.6) of any WR … ever. Of course, capturing triple-crown honors in 2024 was the 25-year-old's greatest accomplishment yet: 2024 Chase, 2021 Cooper Kupp, 2005 Steve Smith, 1992 Sterling Sharpe, and 1990 Jerry Rice are the only players to do this during the last 50 years.

45. Tee Higgins has suffered a documented hamstring injury of some degree every year since 2019.

46. It sure seemed like Burrow leaned on Mike Gesicki when Higgins was out of the lineup, as the de facto big slot posted 3-18-0, 7-91-0, 7-73-0, 5-100-2, and 4-30-0 receiving lines on an average of 7.2 targets per game in five games with Tee sidelined last season.

47. This offensive line has been a struggle throughout the Burrow era.

PFF end-of-season offensive line ranks for the Bengals:

  • 2024: 30th
  • 2023: 26th
  • 2022: 28th
  • 2021: 20th
  • 2020: 30th

As for their preseason 2025 rank … 31st. Yikes.

CLE_browns-logo.svgCleveland Browns

48. Vegas believes the Browns will be the league's lowest scoring offense this season in terms of their lookahead implied team totals.

49. Head coach Kevin Stefanski has typically relied on multiple RBs during his time leading the Browns.

No Browns RB has posted a Utilization Score better than RB18 during this stretch.

50. Jerome Ford averaged +1.1 rush yards over expected per carry last season. The only RBs to post a better mark with at least 100 carries: Derrick Henry, Saquon Barkley, Jordan Mason, and Chuba Hubbard. That's it!

51. Jerry Jeudy had some pretty stark splits last season:

The man basically put up identical numbers to Puka Nacua during the latter stretch!

52. Small-sample size be damned: Cedric Tillman was the WR8 in PPR points per game during Weeks 7-11 last year, AKA the stretch after Amari Cooper was traded and before Tillman suffered a season-ending concussion.

53. David Njoku has posted back-to-back top-five finishes in PPR points per game and has some borderline erotic splits, specifically with Flacco under center.

54. Fantasy Life Projections has just five TEs projected for 100-plus targets: Trey McBride (129), Brock Bowers (126), Travis Kelce (116), David Njoku (110), and Evan Engram (104).

55. Myles Garrett is quite good at terrorizing opposing QBs.

Garrett pressure rate among all defensive linemen with 300+ snaps:

  • 2024: 18.4% (1st)
  • 2023: 18.3% (2nd)
  • 2022: 16.1% (6th)
  • 2021: 15.5% (6th)
  • 2020: 11.9% (23rd)

DAL_cowboys-logo.svgDallas Cowboys

56. The Cowboys' offensive environment hasn't been too hot in recent years. Just look at their rank in "Supporting Cast Rating," which takes every squad's average team PFF rush, receiving, pass blocking, and run blocking grades (everything except passing):

Cowboys rank in Supporting Cast Rating

  • 2021: 1st
  • 2022: 10th
  • 2023: 8th
  • 2024: 29th

57. Miles Sanders and Javonte Williams rank 55th and 59th in yards per carry among 59 qualified RBs over the past two seasons.

58. CeeDee Lamb is THE WR1 in PPR points per game (20.8) over the past two seasons.

59. George Pickens has averaged a robust 16.3 yards per reception and 9.7 yards per target since entering the league–marks that rank seventh and 11th among 105 qualified WRs.

60. Jake Ferguson tied Tucker Kraft for the position lead in missed tackles forced (15) last season despite suffering a Grade 2 MCL sprain in Week 1 and a concussion in Week 11.

61. The Cowboys joined the Dolphins and Jaguars as offenses with low pressure rates allowed (good!), but the quick average time to pressure (bad!) reflected the reality that these still weren't exactly elite pass-protecting units.

DEN_broncos-logo.svgDenver Broncos

62. Bo Nix's 18.6 fantasy points per game as a rookie were good for the fifth-highest mark in the Super Bowl era behind only Cam Newton, Justin Herbert, Robert Griffin, and Jayden Daniels.

63. Justin Herbert (36) and Cam Newton (35) are the only rookie QBs to total more combined passing and rushing TDs than Nix (33) in NFL history.

64. The Saints produced a top-11 RB in PPR points per game during 12 of Sean Payton's 15 seasons in charge, but Javonte Williams failed to crack the top 30 in each of the past two seasons.

65. Only the Steelers (18%) and Bills (12%) left a single RB on the field for at least 60% of their offense's snaps in a lower percentage of games than the Broncos (24%) last season.

66. J.K. Dobbins ranked 10th in rush yards over expected per carry (+0.6) last season.

67. Only Saquon Barkley, Derrick Henry, and Bucky Irving had more 30-plus yard rushes than Dobbins last season. Sure, he faded at the end of a few of them, but consider: Dobbins registered a faster top ball carrier speed (19.92 MPH) than guys like Travis Etienne (19.9) and Kyren Williams (19.1) last season.

68. Jaleel McLaughlin's average of 3.7 yards per target ranks dead last among 229 players with 50-plus targets over the last two seasons.

69. Broncos RBs have ranked first and fourth in total receptions over the past two seasons despite not having an overly good pass-catching back.

70. Courtland Sutton's infamous Thursday night goose-egg in Week 7 featured *zero* targets. But after that? Bo Nix's No. 1 WR averaged 18.2 PPR points per game during the rest of the regular season (WR10), thanks in large part to an absurd league-high 49% air-yard share.

71. The Broncos' Wild Card loss to the Bills marked the first time all season that Sean Payton put Marvin Mims on the field for at least 50% of the offense's snaps.

72. Troy Franklin received a team-high 12 targets on passes thrown 30-plus yards downfield … and caught exactly one–but hey, it was a good one!

73. Evan Engram ranks second in receptions (234) and fifth in receiving yards (2,094) during the last three seasons. He's one of five TEs that Fantasy Life projects for triple-digit targets in 2025.

74. Denver TEs rank dead last in targets by a whopping 37 pass-game opportunities since 2023. His track record at the position over the years really hasn't been too hot, other than the obvious Jimmy Graham booms.

DET_lions-logo.svgDetroit Lions

75. Jared Goff just put forward his best season ever in terms of EPA per dropback.

76. Just 2% of Goff's fantasy points came from rushing production last year. The only other QBs under 5%: Tua Tagovailoa (3%), Aaron Rodgers (4%), Matthew Stafford (2%), Kirk Cousins (0%, lol), and Joe Flacco (2%).

77. Fantasy Life's Director of Analytics Dwain "The Rock" McFarland has some cool new ceiling and floor tools he's been working on—and Goff's best-case scenario is outside the league's top-20 QBs. I was shocked to find this out on THE Fantasy Life Show.

78. Jahmyr Gibbs worked as the RB5 in PPR points per game (18.7) in Weeks 1-15 with a healthy David Montgomery last season … and THE RB1 (32.6!) in Weeks 16-18 as the team's undisputed lead back.

79. Montgomery has worked as the RB15 and RB16 in PPR points per game last season. He racked up 59 combined carries and targets, 270 total yards, and four TDs in his only two games without Gibbs in 2023—good for PPR RB2 and RB5 finishes.

80. Our one true Sun God Amon-Ra St. Brown averaged the most EPA per target (+0.67) and posted the position's highest catch rate over expected (+11.7%) among all WRs with at least 65 targets last season (Next-Gen Stats).

81. Jameson Williams cleared the 1,000 receiving yard mark on just 91 targets last season. Only A.J. Brown (84), Mike Williams (90), and George Kittle (90) managed to crack the century mark with fewer pass-game opportunities since targets began being tracked in 1992.

82. While Sam LaPorta's TE9 finish in PPR points per game wasn't ideal, he did start to really catch his stride down the stretch.

LaPorta PPR points per game:

  • Weeks 1-7: 7.1 (TE22)
  • Weeks 8-14: 11.3 (TE11)
  • Weeks 15-DR: 16.2 (TE2)

Reminder: LaPorta dealt with early-season hamstring and ankle injuries last year.

83. Lions RBs have averaged a robust 1.7 yards before contact per carry during the last three seasons. This is particularly impressive considering the usual top teams on this list (Eagles, Ravens, Bills) mightily benefit from the gravity of their respective dual-threat QBs, something Mr. Goff obviously doesn't offer.

GB_packers-logo.svgGreen Bay Packers

84. All six of the Packers' non-Week 18 losses (sorry Bears fans) came against the Eagles, Vikings, and Lions … three of the NFL's only four teams to win 14-plus games last season.

85. Jordan Love averaged 2.9 fantasy points per game from rushing in 2023, but just 1.1 in 2024. It turns out severely spraining your MCL in Week 1 and then hurting your groin in Week 8 doesn't exactly help out in the ol' rushing department.

86. Josh Jacobs was a workhorse in 2024, although he did run as pure as anyone when it came to his backfield mates going down with injuries. A.J. Dillon (neck) missed the entire season, and third-rounder MarShawn Lloyd (hamstring, ankle) only wound up playing one game all year. Matt LaFleur doesn't exactly have the cleanest history of always featuring one clear lead back.

87. No group of WRs had more total drops than the Packers (25), and their drop rate (8.4%) also led the league. The top of the leaderboard in drop rate featured Dontayvion Wicks (17%) and Jayden Reed (15.4%), as well as former friends Allen Lazard (17.8%) and Marquez Valdes-Scantling (13.6%). What the hell are they putting in Green Bay's WR room Gatorade cooler?!

88. Even considering said drops, the fact Reed only had 75 targets in 17 games last season, despite regularly looking like the offense's best playmaker, is pretty wild, man.

89. Wicks tied for fourth in ESPN's "Open Rating" metric, meant to help quantify separation … and dead last in catch rating last season. The man went from ninth in yards per target (10) in 2023 to 85th (5.5) in 2024.

90. Tucker Kraft's +3.1 yards after the catch over expected easily led the position, while ESPN advanced receiver ratings also dubbed him as the top dog at TE when it came to pure YAC ability.

91. Malik Willis ranked first in yards per attempt (10.2) and third in yards per carry (6.9) if you move the thresholds low enough. Small-sample size be damned–the man was making plays out there!

HOU_texans-logo.svgHouston Texans

92. C.J. Stroud's finish as the QB28 in fantasy points per game (gross) made him easily the biggest faller (-23) from preseason ADP (QB5). Nobody else had a dropoff of more than 14 spots. I still can't get over this: QB28! Even removing his 11-snap Week 18 performance only gets us to QB25, and sadly, that actually wasn't even his lowest weekly score of the year.

93. Pressure from PFF's reigning 29th-ranked offensive line was a problem, and to Stroud's credit, he did stand out as one of the league's QBs who seemingly wasn't at fault for a lot of it.

94. Joe Mixon was the RB2 in PPR points per game (21.2)—behind only Saquon Barkley (22.7)—in Weeks 1-14 … but then worked as the RB37 (8.2) on a per-game basis during the fantasy playoffs in Weeks 15-17.

95. Nick Chubb had previously never averaged below five yards per carry in a season before going for just 3.3 yards per rush in 2024 (45th among 46 qualified RBs).

86. Nico Collins is the only NFL WR to average at least three yards per route run during the past two seasons.

87. The Texans' TE room is hilarious. Not necessarily bad or anything, but still hilarious:

88. That Derek Stingley Jr. guy is pretty damn good.

  • No outside corner allowed fewer yards per target (4.9) last season (Next-Gen Stats).
  • Stingley allowed the lowest passer rating among all corners in 2024.
  • His 45.3% completion rate allowed was the second-best mark in the league.

IND_colts-logo.svgIndianapolis Colts

89. Anthony Richardson ranked dead last in completion percentage above expected last season, and it wasn't particularly close.

90. Both Daniel Jones and Anthony Richardson have been at their best when using their legs over the years.

QB most fantasy points per game from purely rushing 2022-24:

91. The Colts' QB battle is between the bottom-two QBs in passer rating over the past two years.

92. Jonathan Taylor has been forced to battle through one early-season injury after another during the last three years:

  • 2022: Grade 2 ankle sprain in Week 4, suffered a season-ending high ankle sprain in Week 15.
  • 2023: Started the year on IR with a back (contract?) injury, torn thumb ligament in Week 12.
  • 2024: Grade 3 high ankle sprain in Week 4.

93. Taylor's career average of 89.7 rushing yards per game trails only Jim Brown (104.3), Barry Sanders (99.8), Terrell Davis (97.5), and Eric Dickerson (90.8) in NFL history.

94. Only Malik Nabers, Mike Evans, and A.J. Brown had a higher "Open Rating" than Josh Downs in 2024.

95. Michael Pittman pulled a Mike Tyson and played through a lower back fracture throughout last season. Reminder: Pittman had previously finished as fantasy's WR24, WR22, and WR14 in PPR points per game before last year's WR45 mark.

96. Alec Pierce was actually the man to lead the 2024 Colts in receiving yards. Put some respect on the name of the NFL's reigning leader in yards per reception (22.3) and yards per target (11.9).

97. Nobody had a higher percentage of their open air yards deemed uncatchable last season than Adonai Mitchell (per Fantasy Points). This was one of the more depressing near-miss cutups I've ever made.

98. Tyler Warren led college football in yards per carry (8.7) while also posting top-10 numbers in yards after contact per carry, explosive run rate, and missed tackles forced per rush!

99. Targeting kickers in good-to-average scoring offenses has been better than targeting ones inside elite units in recent years. High-scoring fantasy WRs and TEs also haven't been overly correlated to being in top-tier scoring offenses, but you can't say the same for QBs and RBs.

JAC_jaguars-logo.svgJacksonville Jaguars

100. This has been one of the league's worst offensive environments in recent years.

Jaguars rank in Supporting Cast Rating:

  • 2024: 25th
  • 2023: 30th
  • 2022: 20th
  • 2021: 28th

101. Trevor Lawrence is the QB28 and QB37 in EPA per dropback and yards per attempt among 53 qualified signal-callers over the past four seasons. Those marks improve to 24th and 22nd if you remove the rookie year Urban Meyer-induced debacle.

102. It's safe to say Tank Bigsby was the best RB in Jacksonville last season.

103. Bhayshul Tuten fumbled 10 times on 406 career collegiate touches.

104. Only seven rookie RBs drafted in Rounds 4-7 or UDFA posted top-24 fantasy numbers in the last 10 years:

105. Brian Thomas Jr. just had one of the most efficient NFL debuts of the last decade.

Most yards per route run by a rookie WR since 2015 (min. 50 targets):

106. Travis Hunter is the fifth-highest ranked prospect in the Fantasy Life Rookie WR Super Model dating back to 2018

107. Dyami Brown joins Josh Palmer, TuTu Atwell, and Darius Slayton as the only WRs making eight figures annually and are available after Round 12 in best ball land.

108. Former second-round pick Brenton Strange has some sleeper appeal in fantasy land:

  • New head coach Liam Coen featured his former TE Cade Otton on 87% of the team's dropbacks last season–the third-highest mark of any player at the position.
  • Backups Johnny Mundt and Hunter Long have been block-first options throughout their respective careers.
  • Jaguars TEs as a whole rank sixth in total targets since T-Law was drafted back in 2021.

109. Arguably the most unique part of the Liam Coen-ed Buccaneers offense last season was their ability to create big plays on passes thrown *behind* the line of scrimmage, something we usually only see from the league's best-designed units.

KC_chiefs-logo.svgKansas City Chiefs

110. This Chiefs offense was among the league's least-explosive units in 2024.

111. The Chiefs ranked fifth and sixth in rush and pass play success rate last season.

113. Mahomes was the career QB leader in fantasy points per game through his first six seasons as a starter. He now ranks second behind Josh Allen.

114. Isiah Pacheco racked up 18 and 24 combined carries and targets on robust 80% and 66% snap rates during his first two games of last season before getting injured.

115. Andy Reid has produced a top-12 RB in PPR points per game 15 times in 26 seasons (58%), leading the Eagles and Chiefs, but Pacheco (RB14 in 2023) is the only top-20 finish since 2018.

116. All Rashee Rice did during the first three weeks of last season was score 21.6 PPR points per game—a mark that would have only trailed Ja'Marr f*cking Chase over the course of an entire season.

117. Xavier Worthy and Mahomes connected on just *one* target thrown 30-plus yards downfield up until the second half of the Super Bowl when they managed two.

118. Give Worthy credit for averaging a robust 17.1 PPR points per game (WR15) from Weeks 11-Super Bowl, although his decrease in aDOT (11.9 vs. 7.5) could be a problem if Rice resumes his usual role following his suspension.

119. The Injury Gods have been cruel to Hollywood Brown. Still, he did work as the PPR WR5 during the first six weeks of 2022, the last time that he was truly healthy.

120. Travis Kelce ranked among the league's bottom-10 TEs in passer rating when targeted, ESPN receiving score, yards after the catch per reception, and yards per target last season … and still finished TE6 in PPR points per game despite scoring a career-low three TDs.

121. Kelce averaged just four targets per game with a healthy Rashee Rice last season.

122. This Passing game has become a shell of its former self in terms of throwing the ball downfield.

OAK_raiders-logo.svgLas Vegas Raiders

123. Geno Smith has arguably been the single-most accurate QB in the league over the past three seasons.

Geno's completion percentage over expected:

  • 2024: +5.6% (No. 4)
  • 2023: +2.4% (No. 11)
  • 2022: +5.6% (No. 1)

124. From 2015 to 2023, the best single-season college mark in missed tackles forced on rush attempts was held by Bijan Robinson with 104, and in 2024, Ashton Jeanty forced … 152 missed tackles.

125. The Fantasy Life RB Super Model Mount Rushmore for incoming RBs going back to 2018: Saquon Barkley (100 rating), Leonard Fournette (92), Christian McCaffrey (91), and Jeanty (91).

126. The 2010 Bills hilariously only gave C.J. Spiller 98 touches in 14 games after selecting him with the ninth overall pick. Shoutout Fred Jackson, but c'mon guys! Otherwise, top-10 selections have generally been force-fed the football and returned solid fantasy value.

127. Jeanty averaged north of three yards per route run in 2023—something only Christian McCaffrey and Jahmyr Gibbs have also managed to do over the last decade.

128. Jakobi Meyers led the NFL in receptions (87) without a single charged drop by PFF last season.

129. Brock Bowers scored 31.8 more PPR points than the next-closest top-12 fantasy TE in the fourth quarter last season.

130. Somehow, Michael Mayer forced more missed tackles on receptions (5) than Bowers (4) last season. FREE MICHAEL MAYER.

League-Sync-NL (1).jpg

LAC_chargers-logo.svgLos Angeles Chargers

131. Justin Herbert averaged north of 22 fantasy points per game in each of his first two seasons, but hasn't cracked 18 in three years since.

132.  Herbert's career-high 306 rushing yards last season came despite dealing with plantar fasciitis in the preseason and an early-season high ankle sprain. The man is shifty!

133. Omarion Hampton managed to rack up north of 1,500 rushing yards while scoring 15-plus TDs on the ground in each of the past two seasons. Over the past 10 years, the only other college players to accomplish this feat on more than one occasion are Jonathan Taylor, Travis Etienne, Dalvin Cook, Donnel Pumphrey, and Lamar Jackson (lol).

134. The only RBs with more 20-plus yard rushes than Najee Harris over the past two seasons: Derrick Henry, Saquon Barkley, and Jahmyr Gibbs. That's it.

135. Ladd McConkey's 19.2 PPR points per game from Week 8 through the playoffs were good for WR5 status behind only Ja'Marr Chase, Mike Evans, Tee Higgins, and Amon-Ra St. Brown.

136. Tre Harris was No. 1 in the class in yards per route run vs. both man and zone at Ole Miss in 2024.

137. Quentin Johnston averaged more PPR points per game than Marvin Harrison Jr. last season.

138. Johnston had 13 catches for 186 yards in Week 18 last season … and goose-egged in the Chargers' Wild Card loss to the Texans.

LA_rams-logo.svgLos Angeles Rams

139. The Rams had a 1st and 10 with the ball at the Eagles' 21-yard line down six points with 1:25 remaining in the 4th quarter in their eventual Divisional Round loss.

140. Matthew Stafford isn't quite playing at his 2019-2021 prime, but his recent performance has still largely been better than what was usually on the table in Detroit.

141. Kyren Williams has scored more PPR points per game than any RB not named Christian McCaffrey, Saquon Barkley, or Jahmyr Gibbs during the last two seasons.

142. The Rams have drafted an RB in eight consecutive drafts

143Puka Nacua has averaged 18 PPR points per game since 2023, trailing only Odell Beckham Jr., Randy Moss, Ja'Marr Chase, Bob Hayes, and Justin Jefferson when it comes to per-game fantasy production during the first two seasons of a career in the Super Bowl era.

144. Davante Adams (136.6) during the final six weeks of 2024.

145. Davante Adams "Open Score" since 2020:

  • 2020: 99 (1st)
  • 2021: 85 (6th)
  • 2022: 81 (8th)
  • 2023: 71 (15th)
  • 2024: 77 (14th)

146. Rams WRs as a whole rank second in both receptions and receiving yards since McVay and Stafford joined forces in 2021.

147. Tyler Higbee's 11.2 PPR points per game (including playoffs) were good for TE9 status–ahead of guys like Mark Andrews and Dallas Goedert!

148. Jared Verse joins Micah Parsons, Chop Robinson, and Will Anderson as the only rookie defenders to register a pressure on at least 15% of their pass rush snaps since 2020.

MIA_dolphins-logo.svgMiami Dolphins

149. This Miami offense was quite good with a healthy Tua Tagovailoa last season.

Dolphins in Weeks 8-16:

  • Points per game: 26.1 (10th)
  • Success rate: 49.8% (3rd)
  • EPA per dropback: +0.256 (5th)
  • EPA per rush: -0.178 (29th)

150. De'Von Achane's early-season efficiency was rough, but a Week 1 high-ankle sprain and the absence of Tua didn't help matters. He was largely back to balling after returning from the team's Week 6 bye.

151. Achane racked up 34 receptions when lined up from the slot or out wide—15 more than second-place Alvin Kamara (19).

152. 58% of Achane's fantasy production came through the passing game, which was easily the highest mark of any top-20 RB last season.

153. Only Jahmyr Gibbs (65%) finished as a top-12 PPR performer in a higher percentage of his games than Achane (59%) among all RBs last season.

154. Jaylen Wright led all Dolphins RBs in yards after contact per carry (3.3), tackles avoided per carry (23.5%), and explosive-run rate (10.3%) alike.

155. Tyreek Hill was the WR24 with 14.6 PPR points per game in Weeks 8-16 with Tua back, while Jaylen Waddle was the WR39 with just 12.4 PPR points per game in Weeks 8-14 before suffering a knee injury.

156. Former Titan WR Nick Westbrook-Ikhine caught more TDs (9) than Hill and Waddle combined last season (8).

157. This Dolphins offense has used per-snap motion and play-action more than anyone under head coach Mike McDaniel.

MIN_vikings-logo.svgMinnesota Vikings

158. The Vikings went from boasting a +122 point differential during the first 89% of their season to a -40 disparity during their two most important weeks.

159. J.J. McCarthy's efficiency on scrambles (9.3 yards per pop) was actually superior to guys like Caleb Williams, Jalen Milroe, and Drake Maye.

160. The Vikings lead the league in completions and TDs on throws 20-plus yards downfield during the last two seasons, and it's not particularly close.

161. Only Derrick Henry and Saquon Barkley had more rushing yards than Jordan Mason during the first eight weeks of 2024

162. Nobody racked up more defensive pass interference yards (171) than Justin Jefferson last season.

163. Jefferson has posted a 17-game average of 169 targets with KOC.

164. Jordan Addison's 19 receiving TDs are tied for the fifth most during the first two seasons of their career since 1998. Good company!

165. Arbitrary cutoff be damned: Jefferson (WR4) and Addison (WR5) both returned top-five PPR production during Weeks 9-17 last season.

166. T.J. Hockenson's big 2023 campaign sure seems to have a lot to do with Jefferson missing half the season.

Hockenson 2023 numbers with and without Justin Jefferson:

  • Per-game with Jefferson (7 games): 7.1 targets, 53.6 yards, 12.8 PPR points
  • Without (8 games): 9.6 targets, 73.1 yards, 16.4 PPR points

167. Brian Flores is basically like Coach Bill Yoast from Remember the Titans when he declares his intention to blitz all night.

Flores blitz rate on dropbacks by year:

  • 2024 (Vikings): 38.6% (1st)
  • 2023 (Vikings): 49.5% (1st)
  • 2021 (Dolphins): 38.6% (2nd)
  • 2020 (Dolphins): 36.1% (6th)
  • 2019 (Dolphins): 29.9% (10th)

NE_patriots-logo.svgNew England Patriots

168. Drake Maye averaged 223 passing yards and 36 rushing yards per game when accounting for three appearances with under 31% of the offense's snaps. The list of QBs to clear 220 pass and 35 rush yards per game in a single season in the Super Bowl era is littered with real-life and fantasy stars.

169. The NFL's leader in yards per carry (min. 50 carries) last season was … Drake Maye (7.8).

170. Josh McDaniels did some cool shit in the designed QB run department with Cam Newton back in 2020.

171. McDaniels produced eight top-20 RBs in PPR points per game during his 12 seasons leading the Patriots and Raiders.

172. Antonio Gibson's advanced metrics were borderline erotic last season, and there were more than a few baller plays on film.

173. Stefon Diggs hasn't finished worse than WR25 in PPR points per game in 10 years.

174. Hunter Henry has never reached 700 receiving yards in a season since entering the NFL in 2016.

NO_saints-logo.svgNew Orleans Saints

175. Just 8.7% of Tyler Shough's pressured dropbacks resulted in sacks last season—no other Power 5 QB had a rate under 12%.

176. Nobody had a better Utilization Score (9.3) than Alvin Kamara in 2024.

177. Only Jahmyr Gibbs finished as a top-24 RB in a higher percentage of games than Kamara (100% vs. 93%) last season.

178. Kamara (9.6) and De'Von Achane (10.2) were the only RBs to average at least eight PPR points per game from purely receiving last year.

179. The only WRs with better three-year marks than Chris Olave in ESPN's separation-based Open Score metric: Malik Nabers, Diontae Johnson, A.J. Brown, Tyreek Hill, CeeDee Lamb, and Zay Flowers.

180. Rashid Shaheed managed to post four top-18 PPR fantasy finishes in just six games last season. Somehow, that mark tied Tyreek Hill, DJ Moore, Marvin Harrison Jr., and Garrett Wilson, and was more than guys like Jaylen Waddle, George Pickens, and DK Metcalf.

181. Nobody has more TD catches on passes thrown 30-plus yards downfield than Shaheed (7) over the past two seasons.

182. Juwan Johnson only trails Mark Andrews, George Kittle, Travis Kelce, and Darren Waller in that aforementioned Open Score metric over the past three seasons.

183. Johnson's three-year, $30.75 million extension makes him the league's 12th-highest-paid option at the position.

NYG_giants-logo.svgNew York Giants

184. It's not like Russell Wilson got back to partying like it's 2015 again with the Steelers, but it was at least a step back in the right direction.

185. Nobody had a higher passer rating (126.3) or averaged more yards per attempt (16.1) on passes thrown at least 20 yards downfield in 2024 (including playoffs).

186. The Giants have ranked 30th or worse in scoring offense in four of the last five years.

187. Tyrone Tracy (12) joined Breece Hall (15) as the only RBs with more than 10 combined fumbles and drops last season.

188. Malik Nabers averaged 18.2 PPR points per game in 2024—the third most by a rookie in NFL history behind only Odell Beckham Jr. (24.6, lol) and Randy Moss (19.2).

189. Fantasy Life Projections have Nabers earning a league-high 162.5 targets ahead of next season.

190. There have been 270 instances of a wide receiver catching at least 90 passes in a season in NFL history, and 2024 Wan'Dale Robinson is the only one to average under 50 receiving yards per game … with 41.1.

191. Theo Johnson is a FREAK athlete and played at least 70% of the offense's snaps in all 12 of his games last season.

NYJ_jets-logo.svgNew York Jets

192. Four QBs have posted top-five numbers in fantasy points per dropback in each of the past three seasons: Josh Allen, Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts … and Justin Fields.

193. 28 of 31 QBs (90.3%) with 100-plus carries in a season went on to post top-12 numbers in fantasy points per game since 2014.

194. Fantasy Life Projections have Fields going for 140 rush attempts this season–more than anyone other than Jalen Hurts (145).

195. The Jets have ranked 30th, 23rd, and 26th in RB rush yards *before* contact per carry since 2022.

196. Historically, dual-threat QBs like Fields have done a great job elevating this very metric, seemingly thanks to their gravity in the read-option game.

197. Garrett Wilson is one of just 10 players in the Super Bowl era to gain at least 1,000 receiving yards in each of the first three seasons of their career. Note that he reached the mark in each season before getting the luxury of a 17th game.

198. Allen Lazard just led the league in drop rate and sent perhaps the saddest Wolf of Wall Street "I'm not leaving" tweet of all time.

199. Fields helped Cole Kmet reach TE9 heights in PPR points per game in 2023 during a solid 73-719-6 campaign.

200. This Jets pass defense has a good case as the league's best since drafting Sauce Gardner back in 2022.

Jets ranks in pass defense from 2022-2024:

  • Yards per attempt: 6.4 (1st)
  • Explosive pass play rate: 10.5% (1st)
  • Defensive EPA per dropback: +0.1 (2nd)
  • Pressure rate: 36.7% (4th)

Opposing WRs specifically have produced league-low counting numbers in TDs and yards during this span.

PHI_eagles-logo.svgPhiladelphia Eagles

201. Jalen Hurts has posted QB6, QB1, QB2, and QB5 finishes in fantasy points per game since 2021.

202. Saquon Barkley's 125.3 rushing yards per game were a whopping 43.3 more than his previous career-high mark.

203. Barkley got all the way to the one-yard line only to NOT score a TD on a league-high nine occasions last season.

204. Eagles RBs are tied for last in carries from the one-yard line (13) since 2021, but easily first in rush attempts between the two- and five-yard lines (78).

205. A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith haven't finished worse than the WR12 and WR20, respectively, in PPR points per game since joining forces in 2022.

206. AJB and Smith's combined 58% target share ranked second among teammate WR duos, and their 80% combined air yard share was tied for first.

207. Dallas Goedert has posted TE5, TE12, and, most recently, TE11 finishes in PPR points per game since fully taking over for Zach Ertz in 2022.

208. The Eagles only trailed the Broncos, Lions, and Browns in "Havoc Rate" last season, which is defined as the percentage of plays where the defense got a pressure, tackle for a loss, interception, forced fumble, or pass breakup.

PIT_steelers-logo.svgPittsburgh Steelers

209. Aaron Rodgers still struggled to create big plays on straight dropbacks from clean pockets last season.

210. Mike Tomlin and Smith's Steelers offense posted a -6% dropback rate over expected mark last season, making them the fourth most run-heavy group in the league.

211. Jaylen Warren ranks first in tackles avoided per carry (29.8%) and sixth in explosive run rate (9.5%) since entering the league in 2022.

212. DK Metcalf finished as the WR10 in PPR points per game in 2020, but finished between WR22 and WR31 across the next four seasons.

213. Calvin Austin made a startling number of great plays last season.

214. Jonnu Smith ($12 million) is making just a hair less than Pat Freiermuth ($12.1 million) on a per-year basis.

215. T.J. Watt remains awfully good at football.

SF_49ers-logo.svgSan Francisco 49ers

216. Brock Purdy has been quite great at making something out of nothing when the play has broken down over the years.

217. Purdy racked up the 10th-most fantasy points per game rushing (4.2) at the position last season—even more than guys like Bo Nix (3.9) and Daniel Jones (3.9).

218. Jonathan Taylor (16) has actually missed more games than Christian McCaffrey (14) over the past three seasons.

219.  CMC (22.1) joins Jim Brown (20.8) and LaDainian Tomlinson (20.3) as the only RBs in NFL history to average at least 20 PPR points per game.

220. Isaac Guerendo posted PPR finishes of RB10, RB2, RB25, and RB11 in four games with a 50%-plus snap rate last season.

221. Jauan Jennings was the WR26 in PPR points per game last year and would have cleared the 1,000-yard mark with better health.

222. Ricky Pearsall wasn't credited with a single forced missed tackle on 31 receptions last year.

223. Demarcus Robinson caught seven TDs for the Rams last season and notably runs this goal-line route better than any human alive.

224. George Kittle became just the fifth player in NFL history to gain over 1,100 yards on under 100 targets, joining Stefon Diggs, DeSean Jackson, Jordy Nelson, and Mike Wallace.

225. Kittle is fresh off a TE1 finish in PPR points per game and hasn't finished worse than TE6 since 2018.

226. His ranks in PPR points per game by year:

  • 2018: TE3
  • 2019: TE2
  • 2020: TE3
  • 2021: TE4
  • 2022: TE2
  • 2023: TE6
  • 2024: TE1

227. Only the Rams and Bengals were actually more willing than the 49ers to leave *one* RB on the field for at least 75% of the offense's snaps last season.

SEA_seahawks-logo.svgSeattle Seahawks

228. Sam Darnold posted top-10 numbers in completion percentage over expected (+3.9%), yards per attempt (7.9), passer rating (102.5), and PFF pass grade (80.3) last season.

229. PFF charted Kenneth Walker with a whopping 39.9% tackles avoided rate on rushes–that's the highest mark since at least 2020 among RBs with at least 150 carries in a season!

230. Zach Charbonnet posted PPR RB1, RB7, RB8, RB13, RB17, RB18, RB20, RB30, and RB39 finishes in nine games as the offense's featured back over the past two seasons. Charbs racked up an average of 19.3 combined carries and targets in these contests.

231. Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught just 3 of 12 contested targets in 2023 (25%) before snagging 12 of 26 contested opportunities in 2024 (46.2%).

232. Cooper Kupp's "Open Rating" separation metric and rank by year reflects the reality that we aren't quite looking at the same baller these days.

Kupp "Open Rating" by year:

  • 2021: 76 (13th)
  • 2022: 55 (56th)
  • 2023: 47 (72nd)
  • 2024: 32 (107th)

233. Marquez Valdes-Scantling is a funny guy.

MVS receiving yards per game by QB:

234. The Seahawks have used just two top-50 picks on the offensive line over the last nine drafts combined and rank 32nd in 2025 dollars devoted to the group.

TB_buccaneers-logo.svgTampa Bay Buccaneers

235. Baker Mayfield leads the NFL in passing TDs (69) … and interceptions (26) during the last two seasons.

236. Rachaad White scored more PPR points per game (14.4) than Bucky Irving (13.7) in Weeks 1-16 last season.

237. The only running backs to average north of 4 yards after contact per carry in a single season in the last decade (min. 200 carries): Nick Chubb, Derrick Henry, and  Bucky Irving.

238. Sean Tucker was the most explosive RB in the NFL when it came to percentage of carries to gain 10-plus yards (14%!) last season, and he also easily ranked first in yards per route run (2.6) among 82 qualified backs.

239. Mike Evans has actually found more success with Mayfield than he did with Tom Brady.

240. Ja'Marr Chase was the only WR with more fantasy PPR points than Chris Godwin in Weeks 1-7 last season.

241. Cade Otton worked as THE TE1 (19.1 PPR points per game!) while Evans and Godwin were hurt during Weeks 7-10 last season.

TEN_titans-logo.svgTennessee Titans

242. Cam Ward told The Athletic, "My mentality on the football field is (I) don’t give a (expletive).”

243. Just six QBs have produced top-12 numbers in fantasy points per game dating back to 2015: Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix, C.J. Stroud, Justin Herbert, Kyler Murray, and Dak Prescott.

244. Tony Pollard largely got back to racking up yards after contact at an elite level in 2024.

Pollard yards after contact per carry:

  • 2024: 3.4 (No. 6 among qualified RBs)
  • 2023: 2.9 (No. 16)
  • 2022: 3.8 (No. 1)
  • 2021: 3.6 (No. 5)
  • 2020: 3.6 (No. 5)
  • 2019: 4.5 (No. 1)

245. Tyjae Spears worked as the overall PPR RB5 during fantasy playoffs in Weeks 15-17!

246. Calvin Ridley led the league in total unrealized air yards last season by 179.

247. The only QBs to finish in the top-12 for big-time throw rate and bottom-12 for turnover-worthy play rate among 47 qualified QBs in 2024: Anthony Richardson and Will Levis.

WAS_commanders-logo.svgWashington Commanders

248. Jayden Daniels became just the fourth rookie QB to average 20-plus fantasy points per game in NFL history.

249. Both Brian Robinson and Austin Ekeler posted multiple games with a snap rate north of 70% in 2024.

250. Terry McLaurin's 11 top-18 PPR finishes surpassed even Justin Jefferson (10) and Ja'Marr Chase (10) for the position's best mark.

251. Deebo Samuel averaged 14.1 PPR points per game (WR25) in Weeks 1-6 last season before the rib/illness issues compared to 9.4 (WR54) in Weeks 8-17.

252. Noah Brown racked up the second most defensive pass interference yards last season, trailing only Justin Jefferson.

253. Zach Ertz hurdled a man last season, and it's like none of you even care.
