Week 13 Fantasy Football Waiver Wire: Jayden Higgins, Devin Neal and More Adds
Week 13 brings with it a sum total of ZERO BYES!! YAYAYAYAYAY! But that doesn't mean we shouldn't be working the wire to constantly tinker and improve. Here are the best adds.
Happy Thanksgiving Week, everyone!! I hope this year you can tell your family at the dinner table all about Jahmyr Gibbs getting you 55 fantasy points, that you're witnessing greatness from Jaxon Smith-Njigba or that you actually DID start Jameis Winston in Week 12. Now that's a lineup worth celebrating.
On the other side of the table, you might have checked the boxscore to see Tee Higgins hurt—or you just had to laugh off the pain that was Jameson Williams faking us out once again. Either way it's going to be a great holiday and a great Week 13—because we have every team in the NFL available this week. NO BYES!! (but gird yourselves for Week 14...)
There weren't too many super-important injuries across Sunday's games but there are some players who could still be floating around your waiver wire. All rostership percentages are from Yahoo and, as always, I try to focus on highlighting players less than 40% rostered. Also, don't forget our Waiver Wire Tool, which will have even more targets on a weekly basis.
Week 12 Injuries
- Alvin Kamara (knee)
- Tee Higgins (concussion)
- Kalif Raymond (ankle)
- Tahj Brooks (concussion)
- Michael Mayer (ankle)
Week 13's Best Fantasy Football Adds
Andrei Iosivas, WR, Bengals (20% rostered)
Unfortunately, Tee Higgins was ruled out with a concussion on Sunday and it will be an uphill battle for him to return for Week 13—the Bengals have a short week, as they're playing the Ravens on Thanksgiving. Since his status is in doubt it's time to turn again to Andrei Iosivas (who people may have picked up because of Ja'Marr Chase's suspension). It wasn't fireworks on Sunday for Iosivas, but he did lead the Bengals in receiving yards and targets, locking down 4 catches off 7 targets for 61 yards.
Chris Rodriguez, RB, Commanders (16% rostered)
Chris Rodriguez is not the sexiest pickup on the waiver wire, but he's coming off his bye week and worth a look. In Week 11, he led the Commanders with 15 carries and 79 rushing yards. It hasn't been the season that many expected for Jacory Croskey-Merritt and Rodriguez is worth a pickup, especially if your running back depth is light on your bench heading into the playoffs.
Devin Neal, RB, Saints (3% rostered)
If Alvin Kamara is going to miss time with his knee injury—and he was questionable all week and the team is going nowhere, so draaw your own conclusions!—ookie Devin Neal (an adept pass-catching back) looks like he can step right in and take over a lot of the reps.
We had Neal as a "highly intriguing NFL potential NFL starter" during draft season and Sam Wallace listed Neal among his 2025 dynasty sleepers.
And, hey, if you miss out on Neal, you might want to consider Audric Estime, who could—COULD—do one of those "surprise, it's me!" moves and take all the reps when all the signs point to someone else. But this is why we love this game, right?
Christian Watson, WR, Packers (48% rostered)
It might have been Emanuel Wilson's day, but we cannot forget about his teammate, Christian Watson. Jordan Love continued his efficient season with another turnover-free game, and Watson led the team in receiving yards and targets, finishing Sunday with 49 yards off 5 receptions. The Packers take on the Lions in Week 13 before facing the Broncos and Bears twice in the next four weeks.
Jayden Higgins, WR, Texans (22% rostered)
I've mentioned Jayden Higgins a lot here in the waiver wire article and I will continue to do so until more people add him! On Thursday, he caught 4 passes for 38 yards and a touchdown—but, more importantly, he was targeted a season-high nine times. Yes ... this was another Davis Mills game and we should be getting C.J. Stroud back this week, but this was the fourth time since the Texans' Week 6 bye that Higgins has been targeted seven or more times. He is still an excellent stash with the chance for his role to continue to grow.
Mike Gesicki, TE, Bengals (2% rostered)
It was the return of Mike Gesicki in Week 12! He injured his pec in Week 6 at Green Bay, and missed four games after being placed on IR. In his return he notched 4 receptions off 6 targets for 35 total yards. We might get Joe Burrow back for Thursday's game and with Tee Higgins more than likely being out, Gesicki could be another beneficiary of those vacated targets.
Chimere Dike, WR, Titans (14% rostered)
The Titans have been hit by the injury bug, with Calvin Ridley out for the season and Elic Ayomanor down with a hamstring injury. Chimere Dike took advantage of his opportunity and caught 5 of his 7 targets for 44 yards and a touchdown against the Seahawks. He also returned a punt for 90 yards for another touchdown. This team isn't necessarily firing on all cylinders, but in deeper formats Dike is worth a look.
Blake Corum, RB, Rams (16% rostered)
Let's get something straight, it's Kyren Williams' world and we are just living in it. Another stash play to consider is Blake Corum, though, because if Williams ever were to go down then he would take a large workload for the Rams. Especially since Jarquez Hunter has zero touches this season. You cannot pick up Corum and play him immediately, but we always want to be early on waiver wire grabs.
Brian Robinson Jr., RB, 49ers (26% rostered)
We can't ignore the fact that Brian Robinson Jr.'s role has expanded over these last two games. Like Dwain McFarland pointed out in his rankings article for Week 12, Robinson has a 37% rushing attempt share, which has led to 8 rushing attempts and 1 target per game. If you have Christian McCaffrey then you need to have Robinson on your fantasy team.
Ollie Gordon, RB, Dolphins (8% rostered)
This is a stash play more than anything else, but if we saw De'Von Achane go down at any point throughout the remainder of the season then it would be Ollie Gordon getting a bulk of the workload. A leaguemate might have dropped him since the Dolphins are coming off their bye week, so keep an eye out. Gordon found the end zone against the Commanders in Week 11 off of 9 carries and 45 yards.
The Other Guys:
- Theo Johnson, TE, Giants
- Luther Burden III, WR, Bears
- Keaton Mitchell, RB, Ravens
- Isaiah Davis, RB, Jets
- John Metchie III, WR, Jets
