Week 17 Fantasy Football Injury Report: Davante Adams, TreVeyon Henderson and More

Adam Ronis and Jorge Martin have the latest updates on injuries with fantasy football implications for Week 17, including Davante Adams and TreVeyon Henderson.

What do you say we close out the fantasy season strong with a big championship week? Getting the inside info on the NFL players battling injuries will be so clutch in setting your lineup. As always, this article will be updated, as news comes up, throughout the weekend. There are some impactful injuries to follow, so let’s get to it.

Week 17 Fantasy Football Injury Report

Quarterback

Lamar Jackson (Baltimore Ravens)

Jackson is listed as doubtful for the Saturday night game against the Packers with a back injury, as he did not practice at all this week. Tyler Huntley will get the start. Huntley has made one start this season and the team focused on the running game with only 22 pass attempts and 35 rushing attempts.

Jordan Love and Malik Willis (Green Bay Packers)

Love has been ruled out, which makes Willis the starter even though he is battling a sore right (throwing) shoulder and was down with an illness this week. Even though Willis is 2-0 as a starter, he’s not Love, so it’s a downgrade for the pass catchers. The Ravens D has allowed at least 100 yards receiving to an opposing pass catcher in each of the past four games.

Running Back

TreVeyon Henderson (New England Patriots)

Henderson is questionable due to a concussion. He didn’t wear the non-contact jersey in practice on Friday, giving him a chance to play against the Jets. If Henderson is out, Rhamondre Stevenson becomes a great play.

Dylan Sampson (Cleveland Browns)

Sampson has missed the last two games due to a hand injury and is listed as questionable. He has practiced all week and could get a big workload if he can go against the Steelers. Check back for his ranking as he could move up if he can play.

Kimani Vidal (Los Angeles Chargers)

Vidal missed two practices before being an estimated limited participant in a Christmas Day session ahead of the Chargers’ Saturday matchup against the Texans. This just pushes up the chances that Omarion Hampton will see 20+ touches this week. Houston has allowed over 100 scrimmage yards to three RBs in the past five games.

Wide Receiver

Davante Adams (Los Angeles Rams)

It’s another missed practice for Adams on Friday, so the final practice session will be vital if he has any hope of playing Monday night against the Falcons. However, HC Sean McVay said that he does not expect Adams to play this week. As if Puka Nacua needed more reason to be the WR1 in our rankings.

Kayshon Boutte (New England Patriots)

Boutte has been ruled out with a concussion. Mack Hollins is out with an abdomen injury. DeMario Douglas is questionable with a hamstring injury after missing last week. The Patriots will be thin at receiver, making Kyle Williams a deep sleeper.

Rome Odunze (Chicago Bears)

Odunze has been ruled out with a foot injury and will miss his fourth straight game. Luther Burden put in a full practice Friday and is off the injury report after missing last week with an ankle injury. DJ Moore and Burden will be the primary targets in the passing game against a struggling 49ers defense.

Chris Olave (New Orleans Saints)

Olave is listed as questionable with a back injury. Olave has been on the injury report in recent weeks with the same issue and played. It sounds like he should play and is a must start as a top receiver against the Titans.

Tight End

George Kittle (San Francisco 49ers)

This is the biggest question of the week and the game is Sunday night. Kittle hasn’t practiced all week with an ankle injury he suffered against the Colts this past Monday, and coach Kyle Shanahan said Kittle will likely be a game-time decision. If you don’t have a better option in the early games, adding Jake Tonges is a good option if electing to wait for Kittle.

Harold Fannin Jr. (Cleveland Browns)

Those counting on Fannin received a scare on Friday. Fannin was added to the injury report on Friday with a groin injury. Fannin said he will play, but we’ll keep an eye on this.

Dalton Kincaid (Buffalo Bills)

After not practicing for two days, Kincaid was limited in practice on Friday with a knee injury. Kincaid has struggled through the injury and is seeing fewer snaps and routes. He’s a risky start against the Eagles. Dawson Knox is also listed as questionable with a knee injury.
