Broncos @ Panthers Week 12 Game Preview

Broncos @ Panthers Week 12 Game Preview

One of the least exciting matchups features the Broncos and the Panthers, two teams with just three wins each and a chance to turn the season around.

Broncos at Panthers (+1.5) – 36 point total

One of the least exciting matchups of the week features two teams with just three wins each, so this is truly a final chance to try and turn their season around. With the lowest game total of the week, I’m not expecting much fantasy production, but there are still a few important players to preview.

The Broncos will be without both Jerry Jeudy and KJ Hamler, so the passing game will likely concentrate around Courtland Sutton and Greg Dulcich. The backfield will be led by Latavius Murraywho is a fringe RB2, and Marlon Mack, who is worth an add on the chance he outplays Murray.

The Panthers’ offense will return to the Sam Darnold experiment, which is unlikely to make a significant difference. There is a chance (a hope?) that he will lock onto DJ Moore and at least make him fantasy relevant again, but I’m not holding my breath. D’Onta Foreman continues to be startable but is at risk of being game-scripted out if Carolina falls behind early.

Somehow a 36 point total still seems generous considering how much better the defenses are than the offenses in this matchup. If you are betting on (or watching) this game, you are braver than I am.
