Week 13 Fantasy Football Rankings And Tiers. Rachaad White Offers Multiple-TD Upside.

Dwain McFarland breaks down the Week 13 fantasy football positional rankings with player analysis, team totals and spreads for every game on the slate.

It is time to make those tough lineup decisions for Week 13 of the fantasy football season.

Below, you’ll find positional rankings, player analysis, team totals and spreads for every game on the slate.

Notes:

  • Players are now tiered across all positions (RB, WR and TE) to help with flex decisions in larger formats. Because of this, TEs might not have a player deserving of Tier 1 compared to RBs and WRs.
  • Defensive yards and TDs allowed exclude overtime play.
  • All references to defensive ranks are for this week (bye Week teams excluded).

Reminder: I have leveled my tiers across RB, WR and TE to help with flex lineup decisions. So, getting to Tier 1 is hard — often, Tier 2 is where you will find my highest-ranked TE.

Tier 4 – Trey McBride

Since taking over a full-time role in Week 8, McBride averages 8.8 targets and 14.8 fantasy points per contest. During that span, his lowest target share is 20%

Trey McBride

If we remove the position from the equation, McBride is playing more like a WR2 than the low-end TE1 price tag he still has on DraftKings at $4,900. That makes him a great option to consider in the flex if you go with a cheaper option like Juwan Johnson at TE.

The Steelers allow the eighth-most receiving yards per game (254.5) and are hurting at linebacker after injuries to Cole Holcomb and Kwon Alexander.

McBride ranks 15 spots ahead of industry consensus as my No. 50 player overall.

Tier 5 – Taysom Hill

Between dropbacks, rushing attempts and targets, Hill has averaged 10.5 opportunities over the last six games. He has been a high-end TE1 during that span, averaging 14.1 fantasy points.

The Saints won’t have Michael Thomas (IR) again this weekend and could also be without Chris Olave (concussion) and Rashid Shaheed (thigh). The injuries leave them perilously thin and could lead to a game plan centered around Alvin Kamara, Hill and Juwan Johnson.

Hill is my TE5 and ranks 11 spots above industry consensus as a top-65 overall option.

Tier 6 – Juwan Johnson

Johnson registered a season-high with seven targets (19%) and an 85% route participation in Week 12.

Juwan Johnson

Johnson has flashed decent target-earning ability in the past, so we could see more of the same in Week 13, thanks to a banged-up receiving corps that could be without Thomas, Olave and Shaheed. Kamara and Johnson are the two best bets to lead the Saints in targets this weekend, and Johnson flashed high-end TD upside last year in the red zone.

Johnson UPGRADES to low-end TE1 status as my TE11.
