Week 11 TE Rankings: Dalton Schultz is a Testament to Consistency
Matthew Freedman released his tight end rankings with his favorite fantasy football plays in Week 11, featuring Dalton Schultz and Dawson Knox.
It's Week 11.
Only a month remains in the fantasy regular season.
The end draws nigh.
Even so, almost anything is possible.
Four straight wins could shoot your currently losing team into the postseason. Four straight losses could sabotage your seeming championship contender.
Complacency is not an option.
In the words of Lady Macbeth, "Screw your courage to the sticking place."
Sure, she was a conspirator to regicide and a wreck of a wife—but she probably would've been a ruthlessly winning fantasy football player.
Get those hands bloody.
Let's get into the Week 11 TE edition of Freedman's Favorites, where I highlight guys I'm upgrading because of …
- Favorable betting factors and situational spots
- Advantageous defensive matchups (perhaps aided by injury)
- Increased usage expectations (again, maybe aided by injury)

Dalton Schultz: Maybe He's Not Terrible at Football?
Maybe people in his own family get excited about him—but I doubt it. Dalton Schultz has almost never been a player who engenders enthusiasm.
But people also don't seem to respect the consistently high-floor producer he has been on a year-to-year basis.
Four TEs entered the 2025 campaign with five straight seasons of 500+ yards receiving: Travis Kelce, George Kittle and Mark Andrews—probably the three best TEs of the past half decade.
The fourth guy? Schultz.
Don't look now, but he already has 438 yards receiving with just under half a season to go. In fact, with 48.7 yards receiving per game, Schultz is on pace for a career-high mark.
And he's trending up. Since the Week 6 bye, Schultz has 24-252-1 receiving on 32 targets and a 77% route rate. Over the past month, he has 10+ fantasy points in three of four games and is the No. 5 TE in Utilization Score (81, per our Fantasy Life Utilization Report).
With that kind of usage and production, Schultz might even be viable in Guillotine Leagues.
As for the matchup, the Titans might be without FS Xavier Woods (hamstring), who missed a game before the Week 10 bye.
Dawson Knox Is a Week 11 Desperado Streamer
Seriously, I want to punch myself in my babymaking organs for even thinking about highlighting Dawson Knox.
But here's what he has going for him.
- The Bills this week are No. 1 in implied team total (27.5 points).
- No. 1 TE Dalton Kincaid (hamstring) seems likely to be out.
- In his one game this year without Kincaid (Week 6), Knox had a 77% route rate.
On top of that, WR Joshua Palmer (knee, ankle) is uncertain to play, and in his four games either fully or partially without Kincaid last year (Weeks 10-14), Knox had a 75% route rate and put up 40+ yards receiving three times.
Is 40+ yards all that great? No.
But it's better than what you've gotten out of Andrews since last year (35.3). Better than Kittle this year (36.8).
For someone desperate, 40+ yards is functional.
In deep or TE premium leagues, Knox might be a worthy waiver wire addition.
The Hot Route
Dallas Goedert (Eagles) vs. Lions: In terms of production, Goedert this season has more than held his own (11.5 fantasy points per game) relative to WRs DeVonta Smith (12.0) and A.J. Brown (9.3). Goedert is the No. 4 TE this year in target share (21%), and the Lions might be without FS Kerby Joseph (knee), who missed last week and has been hampered by a lingering injury for much of the campaign.
Kyle Pitts (Falcons) vs. Panthers: Since the Week 5 bye, Pitts has seen a sustained spike in playing time (94%, 82%, 94%, 94%, 93% snap rates). Over that span, Pitts has had a solid 25-215-0 receiving on 35 targets, and for the season he's the No. 3 TE in air yards (421). The Panthers are No. 32 in defensive pass DVOA against TEs (41.8%, per FTN).
Hunter Henry (Patriots) vs. Jets: Henry's had up-and-down production this year, but he's still No. 1 on the team with an 81% snap rate and 66 Utilization Score. The Jets are No. 30 in defensive pass DVOA against TEs (18.3%), and SS Andre Cisco (shoulder, IR) is out.
